In the first two rounds of the preliminaries the Lesotho World Cup 2010 Calendar was planned in a way, that the first day and the sixth there were two matches and every day in between three matches, two from one group and one from the next or vice versa. Within 6 days 16 matches were played, but only very few results have defined the teams supposed to go on.
Therefore the second round of the preliminaries, which will take place over the next 4 days from 22nd June 2010 to 25th June 2010 with 4 matches every day, two in the afternoon and two in the evening will be very important and define the teams, that will have access to the next round.
By Tuesday evening 22nd June following teams have already been eliminated and will not be seen anymore on the World Cup 2010 Calendar: Cameroon, France, South Africa, Nigeria and Greece. While Argentina, Brazil, The Netherlands, Uruguay, Mexico and South Korea have already qualified, it has only to be clarified for some who their opponents are going to be.
Uruguay is going to face South Korea on 26th June 2010 in Port Elizabeth and Argentina is going to play Mexico on 27th June 2010 in Johannesburg. This is what is known so far.
Everybody was hoping to have South Africa, being the host nation as long as possible in the Game and even though they have won their last match against France it was not enough to place second after Uruguay in their group.
The Bafanas are out, but the vuvuzelas are in. Even though many people have been complaining about the terrible noise they make, it looks like the majority of the fans of every team have adopted them and they have become an unbearable part which will have a follow up also after the Games of the World Cup 2010 Calendar have come to an end.
