It is in this house where Emilio Aguinaldo was born on March 22, 1869. Twenty nine years later, in this same house the Philippine Independence was proclaimed on June 12, 1898 at about four o'clock. Before a jubilant crowd, Ambrosio Rianzares Bautista read out the document , with General Emilio Aguinaldo, revolutionary head of the government at his side.
